ASME E-Fest® is where students and young engineers from around the world unite to ignite innovation, build resumes, meet with potential employers, participate in competitions, jumpstart careers, and most importantly, celebrate engineering!
E-Fest® CAREERS
ASME E-Fest® Careers is a free, fully virtual global event series that connects engineering students and early-career engineers for professional development and career preparation. The digital platform features interactive career sessions, networking opportunities, live and on-demand talks on trending topics such as AI in mechanical engineering, sustainability in robotics, and women in engineering, plus engaging activities like scavenger hunts to enhance the learning experience.
E-Fest® Tech Connect
ASME E-Fest® Tech Connect (formerly E-Fest Digital) is a one-day virtual event that delivers a dynamic blend of technical and soft skill development, competitions, and networking. The program features expert-led sessions from global tech leaders like Siemens and Altair on topics including career opportunities, personal branding, adapting to change, and entrepreneurship.

EFx® - Engineering Futures Experience
ASME EFx® is a global program that provides a forum for engineering students to set foot on experiential learning through ASME competitions, hands-on workshops, industry-led interactive sessions and networking opportunities.
Regional EFx® events are small-scale, in-person thematic events hosted by engineering colleges and universities and EFx® India is the flagship in-person engineering event organized by ASME where students from multiple states in India compete in technical challenges, design competitions, and networking activities across three days.

EFx® Competitions (In-person)
Design, build, and pitch your way to success with ASME’s global competitions and events. Join a community of innovators and showcase your engineering brilliance!
ASME Student Design Competition (SDC)
The ASME Student Design Competition provides a platform for ASME Student Members to present their solutions to a range of design problems.
ASME Technical Presentation Competition
The competition challenge: prepare and deliver a 12-minute technical presentation, typically about a design project, with the emphasis on oral presentation skills.
ASME Elevator Pitch Competition
An elevator pitch is a brief, persuasive speech that you use to spark interest in what you and/or your organization does. Designed to create interest in a project, idea, or product... or in yourself!
ASME Innovative Additive Manufacturing 3D Challenge (IAM3D®)
The IAM3D® Challenge is designed to give engineering students an opportunity to re-engineer existing products or create new designs.
ASME e-Human Powered Vehicle Challenge (e-HPVC)
e-HPVC is an engineering design & innovation competition where students can apply engineering principles through the design, fabrication, and racing of human powered vehicles.
